Central Illinois Stars Baseball program is to allow players the opportunity to improve their baseball skillset and IQ. Our Philosophy for the Central Illinois Stars Baseball program is to allow our players the opportunity to compete against some better competition than they currently receive through local recreation leagues. Our main focus will not be on winning, it will be on developing player’s skills and trying to get better one pitch at a time. With that being said we are still going to try to win games, however it will not be a win at all cost situation. We are trying to improve our player’s baseball IQ’s and skill sets in all facets of the game. Our main focus will be on developing fundamental skills which should carry over into the games and make this an enjoyable baseball experience for all players/parents involved.
